Whatnot: €25 off and Buy It Now explained

Get your €25 in 4 steps

The only catch: the link must be your very first click, before you create the account.

1. Click our referral link. On a phone it opens the app to install; on a computer, whatnot.com.
2. Create your account with your email address.
3. Verify your phone number. Until you do, the credit stays pending.
4. Add a bank card and your address. The €25 shows up in the payment section of your account, with its expiry date.

Using your €25: auction or Buy It Now

The credit works on your first purchase, whatever it is, and is deducted automatically at checkout. Two ways to buy:

• Live auction: the seller shows the item live, a timer runs for a few seconds, the highest bid wins. Set a max bid of €25: the app bids for you without going over. A winning bid is a firm purchase.
• Buy It Now: a fixed price, no timer, no need to be live. It is the easiest way to make a first purchase.

If the item costs more than €25, you pay the difference. Shipping is on you.

Buy It Now, step by step

1. Type what you are looking for in the search bar: a Pokémon, a set, "ETB", "booster box"…
2. Under the filters, click "Products": you now only see items for sale.
3. Under purchase mode, tick Buy It Now: live auctions disappear, only fixed prices remain.
4. Narrow it down: sort by price, seller rating and shipping country. Picking your own country means cheaper and faster shipping.

On your phone it works the same way: the Products tab under the search bar, the purchase mode button, then Buy It Now. The Filter button opens sorting by price and shipping country.

Before you buy

• Check the card's price in the explorer or on its price page.
• Look at the seller's rating and reviews.
• Add shipping to the price when you compare.
